Adventures with us...

Hello All,
Sorry.. I have been out of the loop for a whole week, but I have been having some computer issues and I cannot seem to access our internet on my laptop anymore :( Epic fail, So I am on my hubby's computer, tonight.

Recently:
My Husband recently turned 22 and on the day of his birthday, there was also a Welcome Home BBQ to Welcome Home our unit from Afghanistan. We had a blast and it was really fun! Shay had a ton of fun being apart of a little scavenger hunt, the FRG leaders put together. And she bounced away in the bounce house rental that they had! :)
We had also been having car troubles for a while, so we stopped at a local car dealership and had a wonderful experience... WE BOUGHT A NEW VAN!! Its so spacious and so so nice! Its a 2006 Chevy Uplander.. It even has a DVD player for our little's!

Miss Shay has such spunk! So much little
attitude and it shows in her pictures.
I love my little Diva!
Here are some of the pictures that we took together that morning, she cracked me up with the fact that she wanted copy me and use her little cellphone and take pictures like mommy and her goofy little faces. I love my little girly! :) She is one in a million!
I am, as you can see 17w+4d!
I cannot wait to have my honey feel all
these amazing kicks and feel the
movements! Lol! This is so awesome!
I decided that I needed a change so I got a haircut, I haven't had my hair all one length in so dang long!! :) It feels great and is super easy to style! Epic score this Mama! :)

Anyway, have a good night all ! :)

The countdown to our ultrasound is Oct 2, 2012!!

A day with us Dotson/Bamlet's :)

Howdy everyone!

I thought Id post more about what is going on with us Dotsons, way up here in Washington. Other than enjoying the wonderful weather :) We have had some fun small happenings... I'll start with Labor day, we didnt do anything to crazy. We had the rest of Ben's Batallion come home from deployment from Afganastan!! It was so bittersweet to see everyone reunited with their loved ones and watching all the daddies out there meeting their babies for the first time! I loved it1 After the welcome home of the soldiers.. we joined one of our friends at their new place on post. They used to live more east, past us, over in Puyallup. We just caught up and did some BBQing :) When is that not fun? Seriously!

Today, Shay and I stayed in bed till like 10:30 and watched Tangled, an all time favorite of ours! Then, we went down to the kitchen and made us some YUUUMMMYYY Pinapple-Vanilla pancakes and some scrambled eggs, we wanted something different! Try them! ***All you do is make your batter like normal, but substatute, some of the water with the canned pinapple juice and add a tad bit of vanilla extract, then cut up some smaller chunks from the pinappple and toss it in the batter... Its not overly sweet and it adds a wonderful different little flavor to the pancakes!*** Ben had to leave for work at like 5am... He has to go to PT and formation really early. But, lately on most days has been luck enough to come home early and be with us girls. I love to have him home! Even though, he may only play his LOL (League of Legends) all day long! And will only take shortish breaks so that he can watch a show and snuggle with me.. We are really loving having Netflix to be able to watch shows and movies.. we dont have cable, but we do have Xfinity Internet from Comcast, which is pretty awesome! Its super fast, and so nice to be able to have things like: Netflix, Facebook, Blogger, and Skype! :)
We went to ROSS to get me a couple maternity tops and a new pair of comfy like yoga pants, they have been the best with this pregnancy, since jeans are to uncomfortable--Even with the rubber band trick! It kinda stink cause I have all my cute Aeropostale shirts--but I dont want to stretch them all out and have to replace them after I have this little one. Also I have several cute pairs of jeans, but those hurt to much around my belly to wear, right now. I am just a couple days from being 17 weeks and I truly am feeling it! I feel so big and I am not even half way through this pregnancy! After that adventure at ROSS, we went on post and got Shay some more pull ups (Please dont critisize, she just isnt completely ready for full potty training, but were trying... we will get there, end of story..) :) and we also got Ben a new gaming mouse cause his birthday is in 2 days.. On Sept 14.. He will be 22, hehe he is an old fart now, just like his sweet ol wifey here... Heck; Im just about 4 months (January 30th) from being 23 haha. I am totally critisizing myself by saying that! Lol. Then we came home... Shay is SUPPOSED to be down for a nap, yet I am not to sure that she is.. Ben is on LOL-- per usual! And I am here, talking to you all! :) Anyways I think I am going to wrap it up for the day! Talk to yall sooner, rather than later!

Always,
De

My Slice of Sunshine.....

Some of the funnest times I have ever had, have been with my sweet little bomb shell! She is my little slice of happiness on a crappy day!

With her, I am always going to get giggles, smiles and a good time!

My Sweet Girl is my everything!
We always have a lot of fun with each-other! :)

Shark Reef Adventures!

This was our trip to the Shark Reef with Grandma Denice (Ben's Mom & My Mother in Law)

Shay looking in on the sting rays :) She was really curious!

We had a blast at the Shark Reef and it was a really cool experience to share with Shay and Denice, they were so much fun how excited they got at all the fish and different underwater creatures! I love our adventures!

Ben's graduation from Bootcamp; Fort Sill Feb 2012

In February 2012, I traveled to see my wonderful husband graduate from army boot camp in Fort Sill, OK. I had my brother and sister and law (Casey and Britt) come out to Overton, NV to take care of Shay while I was gone. I was gone a total of 11 days and it was a wonderful trip with so many great memories!

I flew from Las Vegas, NV to Phoenix, AZ.. My awesome Aunt Audra lives there with my two cousins, (Dawn and her son Baby Eddie) ! I was able to visit with all of them for a few days which was nice to catch up cause I hadn't seen them in a long time. I even got a running hug from Dawnie :) It was a sweet surprise to be missed so much! After those couple of days, Aunt Audra and I packed up her car and headed for Oklahoma! :) We were in the car for two days! Here is to our adventures...
This was just before I left.... I caught my brother Casey, watching Tinkerbell with Shay. It was pretty funny how he was so into it! :)

I made a little chart for my baby girl, so she knew that I was going to be coming back and that I wasn't just leaving her and not returning! She was able to cross off each day that I was gone and that was how much closer I was coming back home to my little girl :) !
I love her so much! She is my everything!
I took these two, minutes before I left to head to Vegas! :) I love my sweet girl!
I love how happy she always is! :)
I love how happy she always is! :)
While I was in Phoenix, we took a little drive over to see where our great grandparents were placed in the wall. they used to live in Sun City, AZ... This is a picture of Dawn, Eddie and I by where they are placed in the wall!
This is Audy and I the day that we took off on our adventure to OK, it was so much fun!!!! We had a wonderful bonding time! It was full of goofiness, giggle and lots of stories.... OH and lots of junk food! He-he! The perfect accessory to a road trip!

We hit some snow on our way to Oklahoma!

This is one of the beautiful shots that I took while we were driving.... SNOWWWWW!!

We came across this little shop while we were in New Mexico, it had some really interesting and beautiful things inside! We had lots of fun, while we were checking it out!

We spent the night in San Antonio, TX! We woke up to snow on our car! :)

Aunt Audy and the snow covered car1 It was super cold when we got inside as well! :)

The icy road we had to take and were only going really slow for a long while!

WELCOME TO LAWTON, OK!!!!! We finally made it, and cant tell you how excited we were! Only downfall, was that we weren't able to see Ben till the next day :-/

This was the day of Ben's graduation and it was so much fun! We were the purple girls! :)

We went to see a movie on one of our last days, we saw.. The Vow :) It was a pretty fun movie and we had a great time spending family time together.

We had a great time, and I wouldn't trade the memories for anything. I am so proud of my soldier for all his accomplishments and his perseverance to excel and do great. He really is a wonderful man! Thank you for your service, my sweetheart! :) I love you!!!!

Always,
Deanna

Life... This is how it is, enjoy the blessings!

So this is take... um like 5 of trying to get my blog up and so I decided maybe this will be it! I am hoping to update every so often with the happenings of our lives, feel free to join in the adventures!

As of now...

Ben LOVES the army and we are enjoying the army life, with all its ups and downs! Ben just recently got promoted again!! Were super excited about that! He has gotten 2 promotions in 4 months. I think that is pretty great, but maybe that is just me being a supportive proud wife.. Haha you tell me.

Miss Shaylee is as crazy, fun loving and full spirited child that I know! She has her crazy antics that keeps us on our toes, and yet she is a great kid that is loving and living her little 2 year old life to its fullest! I wish I had as much passion as our little Shay did. I love her little imagination and how she is always using it! She loves cartoons, her "babies" and us to pieces. She is my little cheese and milk fiend. She literally took bites out of our block of cheese from the fridge! Hahahaha, gotta love her! She will be three in 3 weeks and its so CRAZY to believe! My baby is getting so big and I am enjoying living life with her and our adventures!

Me.... What do I say about me... I am 16+4 weeks pregnant! I will post lots of pictures coming up, even though you may have seen them on Facebook! I have a constant back ache and am usually pretty tired, but my family needs me, so I persevere and live through the pains and such so that I can take care of them! We find out the sex of this little one on Shaylee's 3rd birthday! Which is in three weeks from today! so soon yet so far away! THEN I can do all the fun parts, other than getting bigger by the week! SHOPPING and decorating a little! We plan to move shortly after I give birth, well were hoping to move on base, we will see how that goes! Our lease will be up at the beginning of May, so baby will be just over a month old! :) we cant wait for this little one to join our family. Soon, very soon.

Thanks for stopping by! I plan to update often.

P.S. I am going to back date through the beginning of the year and share stories of what happened then till now! :) Pictures will be included! Till then....

Always,
Deanna
